I had heard so much about convection and wanted to try it. Just installed this in kitchen area with limited space. I love the fact that it has 4 burners and doesn't require much space, which gives me room to set a pan or dish on counter next to it. I am still getting use to the controls, however pretty easy once you get the hang of it. First of all I like the modern look of the cooktop. Because of all touch pad control, it make the cooktop very easy to clean. Many guests had asked me where I got this cooktop because of its modern look and I always keep it clean. Second, the performance is great, it literary boiled water the moment I turn it on. It is much faster than microwave or my water boiler. It saves a lot of time when you have to cook big pot of food. Because it heat up really fast and hot, you have to be careful not to put it in maximum power mode to prevent overcook your food, especially when frying. As other has review, it sometime makes buzzing noise, but I very minor, and I think it because of the induction heating. Furthermore, I like to hear the buzzing to know that the pan is being on high power so I know to lower it when it hot enough. Overall, I recommend this cooktop and any induction cooktop, because it energy efficient, easy to clean, and you don't have to wait for the top to cool down to clean as in radiation cooktop.
